🗣️ Speaking Topic: Global Warming – A Climate Crisis

“Global warming is no longer a distant threat; it’s a present-day crisis.”

These days, temperatures are rising across the globe. Summers are getting hotter, glaciers are melting, and extreme weather is becoming more common. To me, this isn’t just a change in weather — it’s a serious environmental crisis.

Sometimes I wonder about the choices we made in the past.
I ask myself:

If I had been one of the factory owners or investors during the Industrial Revolution, would I have listened to the voices of environmentalists?

Back then, people didn’t fully understand the long-term impact of burning coal and releasing greenhouse gases. But even if I had only a little knowledge, I hope I would have done something differently.

If I had been in their shoes, I might have taken their warnings seriously.

As for today, we still have a chance to act.

If I were one of the decision-makers today, I would take recycling policies much more seriously.
I would invest more in clean energy, reduce single-use plastics, and support global cooperation on climate change.

We can’t change the past — but we can shape the future.
And the future of the planet depends on what we do now.
